The Y Culture

Call it forcible exercise, but if that is what it takes to lower my sugar and control my blood pressure, I have not complaints. However, I call it responsible parenthood. Unlike other past summers, this year seemed to lean towards Zach and Coco’s welfare. Unmistakably, the two kids are growing up, and they need to get other skills aside from web surfing and tv scanning. The best part is, I get to prove to myself that I needed this also.

So, the 4 of us, are the newest family to try to be cool with the Y culture.

This morning, for the first time, I was able to log in 300 calories and 2.75 miles. Not bad, considering the fact that my muscles are still in pain from the previous work out.

Unlike workingout at home, at the Y, there were a lot of things that could encourage you to workout. I’m talking about the elderly who show no sign of giving up. There was even this couple in their 80s, whose wife is a great inspiration.

I know, but don’t jinx it, ok?
